• The artistic genius and creativity of Andy Hirst, the new up-and-coming artist, astounds all who give their attention to his stunningly expressive works of art. His creations combine pulsating colors and intricate layers to create mesmerizing masterpieces full of drama and emotion. Each canvas appears to be alive with texture and movement. In the vein of great Contemporary Portrait masters from past years, like Chuck Close, Jonathan Yeo, and Kehinde Wiley, Andy’s work stands out amongst the myriad of exciting, colorful pieces filling galleries today. By looking closer, one will be indescribably drawn into his art, while also mesmerized by the realism it presents. As a whole, Andy’s unique artistic collection showcases his immense talent and ambition to share his vision with the world.

  • Andy Hirst presented for our Artist at Work series, and he was a delight to work with. He shared stories of what drew him to art, created videos of his time-lapse collage process, and demonstrated the process in person. The extra effort he put into the program, and bringing his large-scale work for us to see in person made for a fantastic program. The audience was thrilled to have this opportunity to experience Andy’s creative energy!

  • From idea to delivery in two months. I am so happy … no, blown away, with my Al Pacino piece that perfectly blended Scarface and The Godfather. This piece gets more comments than any other in my house. AH is the real deal and will take your initial vision and turn it into more than you can imagine.  Made to measure, outstanding results and shipped with care.  If you are even thinking about it, it’s time to have Hirst make it happen.

  • I never truly understood Arthur Schopenhauer’s quote, “Talent hits a target no one else can hit; Genius hits a target no one else can see” … Until becoming a fan and friend of yours. I often find myself speechless after viewing your amazing work. Please be proud of the fact that you have the power to rise above any situation and deliver the best results no matter the circumstances. What a blessed artist you are. Please continue the excellent work.

  • I have enjoyed the creative and professional nature of this young talented artist. I have been lucky to obtain a couple of his original pieces and look forward to what's to come.

  • I had admired Andy’s work for quite some time before I commissioned a piece from him. I was blown away by the incredible likeness of these icons he creates. To capture the essence of another person; to engage through imagery with their spirit takes a true talent. But it goes beyond that - Andy is a good person as well. And maybe that’s what it takes to get to the heart of the matter.

I have had the honor of working with Andy - creating ‘canvases’ made of wood panels and have commissioned him for two pieces, Ani DiFranco and Adele, and was blown away by the end product, his work ethic, generosity and general good nature.

  • Andy Hirst is one of the most talented local artists in our area. His unique blend of murals and magazine collage portraits are some of the most cutting edge pieces I have seen in the art world. His work not only occupies the walls in my house but has been featured in our restaurant designs including Blackbird in Jupiter, Lost Weekend West Palm Beach, Kapow! Noodle Bar and Respectable Street Cafe. Do yourself a favor and check out his work, you will be mesmerized by the details of his art!

  • Talented is an understatement! His vision, inspiration and execution are flawless. Thank you for the contributions to my home.

  • What to say about Andy? Quite Simply he’s amazing. From the word “go,” Andy was invested in our vision for a one of a kind piece of art that we will treasure forever. We explained what we loved about his previous works and then told him about an iconic picture we’ve admired for some time. Andy left, we talked a few more times in-between and he came back with something unimaginably awesome. The man has an incredible talent only matched by his positive and friendly attitude. We are waiting for inspiration to hit us again, but will commission Andy in the future - 100%. Can’t wait Andy!

  • Andy's work shows a deep interest in balancing those universal values of art with a realistic object without it becoming mere illustration. There is a strong aesthetic content present in each work. I believe this is what makes Andy's work so successful. Recently the public was given the opportunity to see, firsthand, how he accomplishes such a difficult tug of war between universal values and generalities. An accomplishment that eludes many, older and more experienced artists. He wields a number 10 Xacto blade like a scalpel. No shortcuts! I am proud to be a mentor to a young artist with such a promising future.

  • We purchased a piece from Andy Hirst two years ago and I have no words to describe the happiness this brings to me.  It is a beautifully done, large collage of a beautiful human being. Working with Andy was easy and pleasant and we have kept in touch over other art pieces he has done. The words, texture, and detail in Andy’s art is unlike anything else I have ever seen.

  • Andy was commissioned to do a collage of me for the new Lynn University Student Center.  I found Andy to be very personable and easy to work with.  His collage art is fascinating and he has developed a unique and beautiful way of capturing his subjects.

  • I've been dear friends with "Big Andy" long before I laid eyes on his unique and mesmerizing art, and instantly became a fan for many years now. I am impressed by his creativity, talent, and dedication to his craft. His work is forever original and thought-provoking, always leaving me feeling inspired. One of the things that I admire most about Big Andy is his willingness to experiment and take risks. He is not afraid to try new things, and is always pushing boundaries. As is evident in his work, which is constantly evolving and growing.

Andy is not in it for fame or the money. I believe he is in it because of his love to create, and share that art creation with the world. This passion is evident in every amazing piece of his work. I am grateful for the opportunity to experience Andy's art. It has enriched my life and home. I highly recommend checking out his work if you have not already done so.

  • I was looking to memorialize a very special day on our 25th anniversary and was referred to Andy. From the moment I saw his work I knew that this could be perfect. He did not disappoint. His work is so detailed and so personal. Incredible details. I’ve had it for six months and still pause to look at it the incredible details. Thank you Andy!

  • If the great artists are such obvious geniuses, why were so many of them ignored or underappreciated during their lifetimes?  Would I have recognized Monet or the young Van Gogh as Geniuses? How about Banksy before he was The Great Banksy?

I can tell you this, though, when I saw Hirsty’s “McQueen,” I was immediately in love with the work. I knew it was special, and I needed it.

I have the same emotional and intellectual reaction to every one of Hirsty’s pieces ever since. I look at them all and just WANT.  If it was not bordering on obsession, and I did not recognize the need to share with others, I would have acquired by fair means or foul, many more than the three pieces I currently enjoy in my home.

Everyone who comes to my home has a reaction. “What is THAT and I love this art.” and then, will he do a ......?  (He will.)

And if you know the work, you know that LOVE is in every piece. Texture, color, humor, action, depth, passion. Like the artist, the art is maturing, developing, and improving with age. The youthful rebellion is still there, thank God, now mixed with wisdom and experience. I cannot wait to see what comes next.
